Belize finally has a marketplace built for the average household. No more "is it still available?" DMs, no cash handoffs at the mall, no wire transfers to strangers.
When we set out to build Snapitup, the question was simple: why does selling something second-hand in Belize feel like such a chore?
Facebook Marketplace is fine for browsing, but the experience falls apart the moment you actually want to sell. "Can you do better?" DMs. No-shows. Cash-only requests. Buyers asking you to drive across town. Sellers asking to come to your house.
Snapitup fixes the parts that hurt. Buyers pay Snapitup directly — not the seller — before the courier picks up. The seller never shares their home address. The buyer never wires money to a stranger. EZ Delivery, Tropic Air Cargo, or Belize Water Taxi handles the handoff — even to the cayes.
